Caucasus Kefir Capsules

Summary

Caucasus Kefir contains Lactic Acid bacteria and friendly yeasts. These bacteria and yeasts help to create and maintain a healthy environment in the intestines, diminish pathogenic organisms, improve the immune system and aid in digestion. Our Caucasus Kefir contains friendly bacteria and good yeasts that survive the bile and acid levels of the intestines and adhere or colonize to the intestinal lining producing a protective microbial barrier (colonization). Compared with other probiotic organisms these Caucasus Kefir capsules contain a much larger variety of organisms and these organisms have been part of the diet in the Caucasus Mountains for hundreds of years. You know they are safe. In fact, it is these organisms that have been credited as one of the reasons the people of the Caucasus Mountains experience such wonderful health.

The Recommended dosage is 1 capsule 3 times a day. You may take them with a meal to help you digest your food and this also gives these bacteria food to begin their growth and help them set up residence inside the digestive tract. You will notice as you regain normal flora that you digest food much better and you will also notice you don't have as heavy a feeling after a good meal.

There are doctors in Asia and other parts of the world who are using these capsules alone to treat cancer. They have their patients use 7 capsules 3 times a day. If you are really struggling with Candida, Cancer, or any gastrointestinal problems, you will probably want to do higher doses than the 1 capsule 3 times a day to begin with. The higher doses may be necessary to turn things around. I can tell you that many people have seen a great deal of success with the use of this wonderful probiotic.

More Detailed information:

Caucasus Kefir Capsules are a dietary supplement containing live probiotic microorganisms, yeasts, proteins and minerals, enzymes, lactic acid bacteria and vitamins. These natural substances help your body to regain natural gastro-intestinal health. Many people believe all disease begins in the "gut" and a healthy GI tract means a healthy human being.

These Caucasus Kefir Capsules when compared with other probiotic organisms contain a much larger variety of organisms. In addition, these organisms have been part of the diet of the people who live in the Caucasus Mountains for hundreds of years. These people have incredible longevity (over 100 years), and it has been attributed to their pure water and incredible kefir, which they all eat on a regular basis. These organisms are both safe and effective in promoting good intestinal health.

Please note that since this is a natural product there is constant fluctuation in the amount of colony forming units in each capsule for each type of organism from one run to the next. There are over 28 different organisms in this kefir. So on the label we claim only that the capsules after 2 years will still have a certain level of acidophilus in each one. However, there are many more organisms than just the acidophilus, and when it is first manufactured the amount of colony forming units is much greater. The bottles we carry are always very fresh and of the highest quality.  The problem is that it is cost prohibitive to analyze each run and to make new labels for each run. It is just not feasible. But it is natural products like these Caucasus Kefir capsules that we really believe in. Natural "real food" products that are not processed and tampered with. These capsules contain many other nutritional benefits and in practice we have found them to exhibit significantly better results than other probiotics. They are very helpful with candida problems. The gut is so very important to a person's health and so many Americans have digestive problems, leaky guts and poor immune systems.

What are Probiotic Bacteria?

Probiotic bacteria are the living beneficial bacteria found in nature and in healthy human bodies. They have beneficial effects on us by protecting against disease (pathogenic micro-organisms) and helping us to digest our food, thus improving our digestion and assimilation of nutrients. The true meaning of probiotic is "for" (pro) and "life" (bio). Organisms that are generally regarded as safe are the lactobacilli, sarchoromyces, streptococci, bifidbacteria, etc. They have been shown to survive passage through the GI tract, have anti-microbial activity, help the immune system and recolonize the GI tract. Multiple studies have been conducted on probiotic bacteria dealing with the prevention or treatment of diarrhea and gastric or intestinal illness and disease, prevention or cure of cancer or the formation of carcinogens, lowering of serum cholesterol, reduction in the severity of alcoholic liver disease and the stimulation of the immune system.

Are all Probiotics the same?

Beneficial effects of probiotics depend upon the strain chosen, level of consumption, duration and frequency of exposure and the physical condition of the individual. You should not consider probiotics as the latest "magic pill" but instead integrate consumption into your daily healthy dietary and lifestyle strategies. Caucasus Kefir Capsules are one of the best probiotics on the market.

All probiotics are not equal and must be clinically proven to be effective. In order for a probiotic to be effective, it must be able to survive the bile and acid levels of the intestines and adhere to or colonize the intestinal lining to produce a protective microbial barrier (colonization). The micro-organisms in the Caucasus Kefir Capsules have excellent survival into the intestinal tract and do very well at re-colonizing. The microbial colonization of the intestines has important implications for humans ranging from effects on susceptibility to infection, the efficient digestion of food and the handling of toxic or carcinogenic substances in the body.

Colonization of friendly bacteria inhibits growth of other pathogens directly through the production of anti-microbial and antibacterial compounds such as cytokines and butyric acid. By competing with pathogenic organisms for nutrients and binding or adhering to receptor sites that pathogens occupy, the friendly bacteria can reduce their numbers. These friendly bacteria can also alter acidity and oxygen levels, improve immune function, stimulate immuno-modulatory cells and produce bacterioncins, peroxide or other metabolic end products such as lactic acid. These substances reduces the gut pH and acetic acid. Colonizing your body with good probiotic bacteria will also help promote your body's overall natural defense by forming a barrier to keep out "bad" bacteria. The freeze dried cultures of the Caucasus Kefir, because they colonize well, will help to reduce pathogens in the digestive tract and improve the functioning of the immune system. They will help change the gut pH and to form a defensive barrier to keep unwanted bacteria out. All the things Americans need in a probiotic can be found in these cultures.

Some individuals experience negative effects from other types of probiotics such as soil based organisms. Sometimes they are too aggressive. They often notice a burning sensation. We have also noticed this and it has caused us concern. While some organisms seem to actually make ulcers or wounds inside the digestive tract worse, the Caucasus Kefir cultures are gentle. You should not see that with this product.

Many other probiotics are comprised of just one organism that is in some way credited as being special. The Caucasus Kefir cultures are different because they are comprised of a variety of bacteria (over 28 different varieties) which are not overly aggressive, yet they are strong and effective. These cultures are not coming from some laboratory or soil, but from a traditional food and have been used for centuries by a group of people known for their longevity. These cultures are a natural product, containing a natural fluctuation of a wide variety of beneficial micro organisms that will gently and methodically take over the digestive tract, cleansing it and benefiting a person's health. If you are looking for a probiotic that contains safe, strong, effective cultures which are at the same time gentle and have a proven track record, you will want to try these cultures.

What are Lactic Acid Bacteria?

Lactic Acid Bacteria are a group of gram positive, non-spore forming bacteria which carry out the lactic acid fermentation of sugar. The species of bacteria which fall into this category are: Lactobacillus, Leuconomoc, Streptococcus, and Pediococcus. Lactic Acid in large quantities establishes a more acidic environment in the intestines which promotes growth of friendly bacteria. In addition, carcinogenic producing enzymes are reduced. These bacteria promote a decrease in blood cholesterol levels, improve the body's immune system by providing resistance to colds and other contagious diseases and they help lactose intolerant individuals to digest the milk sugar. Caucasus Kefir is loaded with lactic acid bacteria.

Will this probiotic help me to get rid of Candida albicans?

I have made an interesting discovery over the past few years. I am in an interesting position, because I get to talk with naturopaths, nutritional consultants, doctors, etc from all over the country. I have met several who say they always win with Candida albicans. Yet, so many people really struggle. The interesting thing about these conversations is that I have discovered that they do not all agree. For example, one nutritional consultant says you should not eat any grains except for amaranth, quinoa, buckwheat and millet. She also does not allow you to do any fruit for awhile until you are well on your way to recovery. She says these grains are the only alkaline grains and you want to get your body alkaline. However, one of the medical doctors I have talked with who uses only natural methods allows all natural, unrefined grains except for quinoa, amaranth, buckwheat and millet. He says these grains digest too quickly and are just like eating sugar. They are exactly opposite in their opinion on grains and fruits. Therefore, I have come to believe that grains and natural fruits are not as big of a deal as many think they are.

So what is important? Here are the common denominators I have found with all people who successfully treat Candida albicans naturally with diet and supplements.

  1. All of them do not allow refined carbohydrates. This means no processed foods, no refined sugar, nor any refined flours of any sort.
  2. All of the consultants I talked to who are successful with candida use probiotics that contain one or more friendly yeasts. I have learned that just bacterial probiotics are not enough with Candida. This is probably very, very important. Their findings have shown them that while bacteria will oust bad bacteria and somewhat crowd other pathogens, to really successfully get rid of candida and keep it gone, you need the probiotic yeasts as well. So do not be afraid of the friendly yeasts. They may turn out to be one of your best friends.
