Processed foods are extremely lacking in fiber and bulk. Your intestines need fiber in order to move their contents along. A poor diet, consisting of devitalized foods, tends to be dry, goopy, sticky and pasty. This type of diet includes food like pizza, hamburgers, mash potatoes or French fries, spaghetti and other pasta dishes, steak, pork chops, and most casseroles and breakfast cereals. It also includes Hamburger Helper, cakes, pie, frozen dinners that you just heat up, etc. These foods have the tendency to stick to the sides of the intestinal wall like glue and usually contain lots of carbohydrates, oxidized fats and preservatives.
A diet of processed foods will create a caked colon, which neither will allow the absorption of substances the body needs, nor will it allow for proper elimination of toxins. The caked, old fecal material combines with mucus which is secreted by the large intestine and forms a hard, tarry substance. This material often becomes something the consistency of a rubber tire. So the body becomes toxic and devoid of proper nutrition at the same time. This downward spiral continues until death. Fatigue, lack of energy, irritability, and frequent illness are just a few of the warning signs.
In addition to a poor diet, most people in America do not eat any, or eat very few cultured foods. Adding good pro-biotic organisms is essential to good colon health. Eating processed foods feeds pathogenic organisms, which tend to overtake the colon. Not having good cultures, which live in the digestive tract, is at the hub of poor digestion, sluggish, toxin-filled bowels that smell, bad breath. This eventually this leads to most of the more serious diseases we now see in this country.
A properly functioning colon must firstly be able to absorb nutrients, and secondly to remove the waste materials from our body before it can poison us. If this matter is not properly removed, autointoxication (the re-absorption of toxic waste) can begin. It does not take long for putrefied waste to absorb through the colon wall into the bloodstream and to begin to cause damage to the other organs as well. Most people think that they do not have a problem with their digestive system, but in actuality a healthy person should be having a bowel movement 2 to 3 times per day. For each meal we take in, we should have one meal go out. Due to improper diet and the consumption of junk food, very few people have a normal functioning colon. This is so true that Dr. Harvey Kellog has made the comment, “Of the 22,000 operations I personally performed, I never found a single normal colon.”
Dr. Norman Walker, D.SC., Ph.D., also said, “Not to cleanse the colon is like having the entire garbage collecting staff in your city go on strike for days on end. The accumulation of garbage in the street creates putrid, odoriferous, unhealthy gases which are dispersed into the atmosphere.”
Another well-known physician, Dr. Bernard Jensen states in his book, Tissue Cleansing Through Bowel Management, “Imagine what would be the result of a pump failure in a city’s sewer system. What would happen if the pipes got all plugged up with some unmovable material so that the system failed to move waste? It wouldn’t take very long before a crisis developed and a huge sanitation problem would threaten health and society.“

Dr. Norman W. Walker, D.SC., Ph.D. offers the following insight from his book Colon Health, The Key to a Vibrant Life: “Few of us realize that failure to effectively eliminate waste products from the body causes so much fermentation and putrefaction (rotting of waste matter) in the colon that the neglected accumulation of waste can, and frequently does, result in a lingering demise! Infirmity and sickness is the result of allowing the intestines to remain loaded with waste matter.“
What does colon cleansing do?
Colon cleansing “scrubs” out the old fecal material lining the wall of the large intestine. As the old material leaves the body the environment becomes friendly once again for good bacteria and pathogens are purged. Toxic substances can again be eliminated by the body, and nutrients can be properly absorbed. A person’s morning breath becomes sweet, and fatigue and exhaustion should gradually lift.
What types of cleansing products should I use?
We recommend the following products that can be used once a day for colon maintenance, but will be very effective if used initially as recommended for a 7 day cleanse.
We recommend a Psyllium Husk/Bentonite Claymixture that is great for scrubbing out old matter, while absorbing toxins that are present. The bulk they create in the intestines will help the bowels to work properly, and it will stimulate movement. Your bowels should be soft, but not liquid, and pass easily.
The bentonite clay is an excellent substance to use for absorbing toxins in the colon, while psyllium seed husks are excellent bulking agents. They swell up to 14 times their original size, and as they pass through the intestines they will help to scrub out the old fecal material caught there. So together, these two substances help the body to eliminate current fecal material, while scrubbing away at old material present along the sides. Colonics or Enemas will also help during the cleanse, though they are not imperative.
We also recommend Green Food Feast, which will give you necessary nutrients that are easily available and require little digestion. Because of this, your body can work on “cleaning house” and purging toxic material. The green foods are made up of 22 different herbs, grasses, roots, fruits, algae and veggies to give a complete nutrient supply to the body while it is cleansing.
We also recommend a Virgin Coconut Oil, which will give your body readily available energy, requires little digestion, and helps to purge parasites and bacteria. The virgin coconut oil is anti-pathogenic and is also used by the body for energy, helping to keep blood sugar and energy levels up.
You may also choose to include wormwood, cloves, and black walnut capsules or ionic copper which will give additional help to the body in eliminating pathogenic worms, bacteria and viruses living in the putrefied environment of your intestinal tract.
Half way through the cleanse you will also want to do a gallbladder/liver flush (See the Sample Schedule below). When you are finished with the entire seven days, you will have cleansed your colon, your gallbladder/liver, and much of your body. You will have purged toxins and pathogens. However a very sick, or unhealthy person will want to do several cleanses. Most people will want to do periodic cleanses, especially if they do not institute radical dietary changes.
Upon completion of the 7 day cleanse you may continue to use these products daily. They will just continue to give the body nutrients, cleanse toxins and pathogens, and help you to eliminate wastes, cleansing and revitalizing your body.

Psyllium Seed Husk/Bentonite Clay
Take 2 teaspoons of the Psyllium Seed Husk/Bentonite Clay powder in a glass of juice first thing in the morning and 4-5 times during the day. Each time follow this dose with a full glass of water. These substances are not to be taken with the green foods or virgin coconut oil as they will absorb some of the nutrients. The additional glass of water is very important.
Green Food Feast and Virgin Coconut Oil
Take 1 Tablespoon of the Green Food Feast in a glass of juice with warmed (liquid) Virgin Coconut Oil. Or you can substitute 9 capsules (9 capsules = 1 Tablespoon) of Green Food Feast, followed up with a glass of juice or water with warmed (liquid) Virgin Coconut Oil. Take these an hour after the psyllium/bentonite mixture, and allow an hour before your next dose of the the psyllium/bentonite mixture.
We recommend taking Ionic Copper (1 tablespoon twice a day during this cleanse) and wormwood, cloves, and black walnut capsules (3 capsules of each, 3 times a day) for really effective parasite and bacterial cleansing.

If you want to do a fasting cleanse, then every 1-2 hours you should be taking either the Psyllium Seed Husk/Bentonite Clay powder or the Green Food Feast/Virgin Coconut Oil (See the sample schedule below).
For optimal cleansing you may do this for seven days at a time. For health maintenance you may add these to your daily routine.
If you cannot or do not want to do an intensive cleanse, you can simply add Green Food Feast to your diet by making a green drink every day. Sometime in the evening, when your food is pretty much digested, you can make a Psyllium Seed Husk/Bentonite Clayshake. This is the way to gradually (over months), slowly detoxify, get good minerals and vitamins in the body, and cleanse the colon.

On Day 3 or Day 4 you may want to do a gallbladder/liver flush to flush out toxins in your liver and gall bladder. However, you will need to stop using the coconut oil 24 hours in advance of starting the gallbladder/liver flush. You can resume taking the coconut oil after you complete the gallbladder/liver flush.
To do a gallbladder/liver flush, do the same schedule as the sample schedule listed above, except on the day of your cleanse do this:
|PM||Add 1 Tablespoon of Epsom salt to an 8 oz. glass of water and drink. The colder the water the easier it is to drink. Some people say it is easier to drink it through a straw. To me it tastes very metallic. Drink it fast and get it over with!|
|PM||Repeat the Epsom salt and water drink listed above (see the directions at 6:00 PM). Now do all your “bedroom chores” such as brushing your teeth, going to the bathroom, showering or anything you want to do prior to retiring.|
|PM||Add 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice to 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil. Shake thoroughly. Drink and immediately go to bed. Lay on your right side for a while with your knees tucked if you can (fetal position). Stay in bed as long as possible. Sleeping all night is ideal. Of course you will not always stay on your right side. That is fine.|
In the morning
|Repeat the Epsom salt and water drink listed at 6:00 PM.|
|You can also repeat the entire process for one more day.|
One hour later
|You may begin your cleansing program again or eating if you are not on the cleanse.|
If you are under a doctor’s care, it is best to discuss this program with him and seek his counsel and support. If your doctor is interested in natural and preventive health care, he will understand that a clean body is more responsive to any therapy. The seriously ill and the elderly should go easy with this program, seeking the advice of their doctor in modifying any features to conform to their specific needs and limitations.
I want to do the parasite cleanse. But, I am still breastfeeding my 15 month old. Is that ok? Also, can I de-worm her this way?
I would not worry about de-worming your baby now unless there are health issues that he/she has. That can always be done later and may not be nearly as important if you use things like coconut oil and healthy foods in your diet, don’t have animals in your house, wash hands before meals and your child does not suck their thumb, etc. The earliest I have wormed a child is at 5.
However, I noticed that the younger children who had a much healthier diet and had lots of oil, had much fewer health issues and stronger immune systems. When I have wormed children I used Dr. Christopher’s VF syrup. We completely eliminated pin worms and it affected things like bedwetting and cavities. But the children were always at least 5 when I did this.
I would not worm myself while I was still nursing. It won’t be long until your baby is weaned. In the meantime, trying using coconut oil is you do not already do so and eat healthy with lots of raw and nutrient dense foods. Even just doing that can do wonders to your pathogen load.
